Yahoo and Microsoft reached a deal that will utilize Bing as the exclusive search engine. This is a 10 year agreement and will put some additional pressure on Google who currently owns the market. The summary of the deal is that Microsoft will run the search engine as well as the ad sales system. Yahoo will focus on the actual advertisement sales for the search. We will see how this all fits together, but Bing was definitely a step in the right direction for Microsoft.
