Republican Candidate Vaughn Ward Plagiarized Obama and Thinks Puerto Rico is a Country - Palin Supports Him

Logic and Sarah Palin are two words that are nearly impossible to use in the same sentence. That theory is once again solidified with her recent backing of a Congressional GOP candidate in Idaho. Vaughn Ward is running for Congress in Idaho's first congressional district and has recently been given the support from the former governor of Alaska. Two mistakes have surfaced in the past week alone to help tarnish Ward's name.

First up, Ward recently had a Republican primary debate against Paul Labrador and was asked whether or not he would consider giving Puerto Rico statehood. Ward was not aware that Puerto Rico was a territory of the United States and not an actual country:

The second genius move by Ward was during his campaign kickoff speech he gave in January. He was trying to be smooth and deliver an amazing address, so what better way to do that then to steal from the master. Ward plagiarized part of Obama's 2004 Democratic National Convention speech almost word for word. The video below is a nice side-by-side comparison of the speeches:

You would think if Ward was trying to win the Republican nomination Obama would be the last person he would steal from. It would make much more sense to use words directly from Jesus Christ Ronald Reagan. With all this bullshit surrounding Vaughn Ward, I had no doubt in my mind that Palin would support him with open arms.
