Doc Thompson was a fill-in today for Glenn Beck on his radio show. When he heard that Obama said healthcare reform "a core ethical and moral obligation", his head spun off his damn shoulders. Thompson said this was a new low for Obama and kept repeating "how dare you". According to this radio windbag Obama has been stamping out religion and making moral decisions for us.

What really bothers Thompson is that healthcare reform might actually lower the premiums for many people as well as offer coverage to those that don't have it. This might take some of the ridiculously high profits some of these insurance company CEO's are getting. In the meantime, Doc will hide behind his religion as so many people do and simply not believe Obama is a Christian because his father was from Kenya.

Doc Thompson's voice almost drove me batshit crazy there. After hearing this I have a strange feeling that Thompson and Beck are going to start a war on morals now. If the President supports morals, then screw them. I guess in reality Beck and his minions haven't supported morals anyway.
