Twitter debuts its new homepage tonight and it looks basically the same to me. Funny enough, it is one of the trending topics right now that people are talking about. This Twitter page is still very simplistic, but I think it was a good idea to put the top tweets on the front page.

The big question I still have is how in the hell are they going to make a fortune off this service? I have no doubt that they will, but they need to put that into action. I saw an interview on the Colbert Report with the founders stating they are waiting for the right time. I have a feeling that pretty soon every tweet will include an advertisement or a coupon, in 140 characters or less.
