McCain has no damn idea what he is talking about in this clip. He is completely pressed by Stephanopoulos about his views regarding "Death Panels", and defends the fact the government should push against them. Stephanopoulos keeps reminding McCain that these panels don't actually exist and it's simply a false claim made by Sarah Palin. The highlight of his defense comes in this quote regarding death panels:

Stephanopoulos: So you think Sarah Palin was right?

McCain: "Look, I don't think they were quote death panels, don't get me wrong.

So, let me get this straight Senator McCain. You don't agree with the Queen of Wasilla, but you are going to spend this entire inverview arguing that we need to push against death panels. The only thing more ridiculous you have done is to actually select Sarah Palin as your running mate.
