Man Lied About Being Kidnapped So He Could Cheat on His Wife

Whatever happened to simply lying to your wife? Things just aren't what they used to be I guess. Wikler Moran-Mora, 38, told his wife that he had been kidnapped so he could cheat on her. At this point she obviously called the cops and they went out searching for him. After she called the authorities, Moran-Mora told his wife that the kidnappers had agreed to let him go, but it was too late at that point. They found him by tracking down his cell phone and he was arrested and released on $500 bail for giving a false report to the police department. Here is the best part, Moran-Mora works at a church in Tampa.

This story is wonderful for so many reasons. First of all, how often is it that a grown man gets kidnapped. I would have known he was lying at that point. Second, if you are going to lie to your spouse so you can go out and bang another woman, wouldn't you use a more believable lie such as being abducted by aliens. Better yet, since you work at a church couldn't you just arrange an out of body visit with Jesus and turn some water into wine.

Funny enough, here is the lesson of the day yesterday from Moran-Mora's church:

“When the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.”
