Coulter is trying her best to protect Sarah Palin's resignation as a good move for her political career. With her giraffe-like appearance on The Early Show, Coulter kept pushing the same old points she has in the past saying how much the American people like her and how she is bigger than Obama.

I can see where Coulter is coming from stating that Palin is a huge icon in the media.........but in a very different way that Obama. Palin is such a large focus in the media because she is a complete disaster. There is a large Conservative base that supports her views, but there is an even larger part of America that thinks she's a joke.

David Frum chimed in a few times to argue Coulter's points, but this was my particular favorite quote:

"Michael Jackson is also a bigger story than the president of the United States, but the American people aren't going to vote for him."

The best thing to happen to the GOP is for Palin to move far away from the Republican party. Today is her last day as Governor, so we will see what happens in the months ahead.
