I don't know how in the holy hell that Sallie Peake got elected, but they may want to investigate that electoral process. The mayor of Wellford, South Carolina has put forward a ban on all police chases of all kinds. So, if an officer sees someone committing a crime, they are no longer allowed to chase the person..........either by foot or by car.

Rick Sanchez had a story on Peake being interviewed by reporter Chris Cato. Cato was questioning the decision by the mayor to ban these chases and she simply went nuts on his ass with no logical or coherent argument.

It's safe to say that if you are a criminal Wellford is the place to be. Do whatever the hell you want and speed away in your Kia and you are fine. I hope there are not too many banks in that city.
