Kyle Sandilands, a DJ and judge on "Australian Idol", was fired from both jobs today after a stunt-went-wrong was performed last Wednesday. The radio host hooked a 14 year old girl up to a lie detector, at her mother's request, and was asked about her sexual history. It was then revealed that the girl had been raped in when she was 12, which Sandilands responded, "Is that the only experience you've had?".
This is just wrong on so many levels. How in the hell do you get to the point where you are a judge on idol and have a hit radio show, yet still have this ridiculous misjudgement. Was there a point where Sandilands thought "hooking an underage teenager to a lie detector and talking about sex is a brilliant idea"?
